After a few months off Vintage Threads came back and it did so in style. The new venue of The Circle Club was cosy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing days shopping. Here are some of the best bits that were available for the girl. There is always something for someone no matter what their tastes. Whether you want to be ladylike or grungy you will be able to find yourself an affordable treat!

My Fair Lady -The Embassy ball

After the last post I thought I would stay with the theme of stylish films and on that theme I couldn't not post this clip of Audrey in My Fair Lady. The glorious gowns and handsome men... People just don't dress up like they used to!

Liza! Style Icon!

Liza preformed at the Bridgewater Hall on Monday and although I didn't get to see her preform, I've heard that she was great. As a fashion lover my favourite thing about Liza is her incredible style in the film Cabaret. She won an oscar for this film - I sometimes think that her many marriages and over the top lifestyle overshadow the fact she is pretty talented lady.

Lady Gaga in vintage Versace

We are obsessed with Lady Gaga's style at the moment, even more than we ever have been! She has been given the run of the Versace archives and has been donning the famous prints and studs with magnificent over the top effects - wowzers. We may not be able to wear it all at once like Gaga but we definitely wouldn't mind having a few of the items in our wardrobe!

With Vintage Threads on Saturday, (in a new location, The Circle Club) we think all our female shoppers are going to be inspired by the lady of the moment, Beyonce. We love Queen B!

Glastonbury Style

A lot of our Vintage Threads fans will be at Glastonbury this weekend. We are wondering what they'll be wearing in this weather? I am thinking a small tea dress, hunter wellies and waterproof poncho for the girls. It's more difficult for the boys, nothing is worse than a damp pair of jeans. Will they be wearing their barbour coats? I hope not as it is likely that they will get ruined in that mud! Here are some of our favourite Glastonbury style icons. I think Kate Moss' high heels are a trend only possible for a VIP.
