Caped Crusaders

As the colder weather begins to set in, it seems everyone is hunting out the best way to keep warm this winter. Capes were all over the catwalk at the Autumn Winter shows, from

Marc Jacobs to Issa; they’re definitely the outerwear item of the season. They are chic, warm and have super hero connotations; to me this is an almost unbeatable mix!

There were numerous capes to choose from at almost every stall at last weekend's Vintage Threads. Bright ones, tartan ones, hooded ones, Avoca ones.. whether your style is more Edie Sedgwick or Miss Jean Broodie there was a design to suit everyone.
